From the early nineties Eagle Vision Systems is developing vision systems and has become a dominant player in the Dutch market for industrial vision systems. Eagle Vision develops, designs, implements, delivers and supports advanced optical inspection systems for the industrial market such as the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industry as well as for the public market such as People Logistics and Safety & Security.
With relation to the industrial market Eagle Vision delivers complete vision systems consisting of a combination of camera and lighting units and real-time image processing software in order to recognize automatically defects of colours, shapes, objects, products and patterns. Although Eagle Vision is constantly developing new products and functionalities the company is continuously focused on the specific wishes and demands of its customers.
Besides tailor-made systems Eagle Vision has developed a number of standard systems for the industrial market, the so-called SCOUT vision systems i.e. the TLI-Scout® (Transparent Label Inspector), the MRI-Scout® (Mouth Rim Inspector), the ICI-Scout® (In-Mould Crate Inspector), the CTI-Scout® (Can Type Inspector), the CCR-Scout® (Can Code Reader), the IRS-Scout® (Infra Red Sidewall), the CRI-Scout® (Croissant Roll Inspector), the CII-Scout® (Cap Integrity Inspector), the Tom-Scout (Tap barrel Orientation Measurement), the CCI-Scout® (Code Control Inspector) and the DIA-Scout® (Desktop Image Analyser) for off-line analyses of disapproved products.
Concerning the public market of People Logistics and Safety & Security Eagle Vision has developed the ITS Scout® (Intelligent Traffic Service) and the SPI Scout® (Surveillance Person Inspection). The SPI Scout® is being used for counting and following people and objects, measurements of an occupied area and waiting queues, detection of bottle necks and guarding of objects and spaces. Eagle Visions has especially developed the DOA Scout® (Desktop Offline Analyser) to report and analyse the recorded images.
