The Basic Scout is Eagle Vision’s standard general purpose inspection platform. It meets the demand for a low-cost, easy to use and yet powerful inspection system. It is used primarily by direct end-user in the food and beverage industries, and also by the machine builders supplying to these industries. |

The visual inspection system TLI Scout inspects the labels and decoration on bottles, even when the bottles have a random orientation. It compares the bottle decoration with a self learned reference label. Color variations and misplaced or damaged labels are detected and these bottles are automatically rejected. |

The CTI Scout inspects packaging (in particular cans but also other products) for possible mix-up. Mix-up detection is important because a wrong packaging for a certain given product filling can cause significant health hazards, for example in the case of allergenic baby food. The CTI compares the decoration of each can passing the inspection point with the expected decoration. In case of a product mix-up the incorrect packaging is detected and the product will be rejected from the line. The cans (or other products) are inspected with a random orientation on the production line. |

From a food integrity point, all packaged foods should have a readable and correct production code / date. The detection of: wrong product codes, wrongly positioned product codes, not complete product codes, and product codes which are not readable (for several reasons) should all be detected and not be put into the market. The CCR Scout (Can Code Reader) from Eagle Vision inspects all these aspects of a code. The system confirms that the correct code is used and visible. If the code is not correct, the can will be rejected from the line. |
