On 27 October 2011 the new CSI Lab was opened in The Hague with huge attention of the Press.

In the project CSI The Hague high-tech technology providers such as Eagle Vision, Noldus and Chess and renowned institutes such as NFI, TU Delft and TNO are developing the latest forensic techniques for the CSI Lab. Eagle Vision has realized the EagleEye; a people tracking system based on 3D camera's. This system is used to provide feedback about the followed routes and procedures of the detectives (who are trained in the CSI Lab).
